On June 11, 2005, I married Mark Wayne Allen of Merryville, LA.  Mark is a quadriplegic who has shown me that possibilities are endless when you put your mind to them.  He does not let a wheelchair stand in his way.  He holds 2 degrees in Computer Technology and PreLaw.  He is an active author who enjoys sharing his stories with the world.  For more information, visit http://www.markwayneallen.com/mwa-books-writing-author-writer.html. 

God did not bless us with children of our own, instead His path for me was to teach and be a mentor to the students of Singer HS and Merryville HS.  

Currently, I have 2 dogs – Peewee and Carl, who are Chihuahua-Terrier mix, and about 15 cats.  Midnight, my black siamese, rules the roost!  

Hobbies?  Hmm...let’s see...oh, yeah….Music!  I sing in my church choir and am a professional clarinetist.  I also enjoy crafting, reading, movies, board games, etc, etc.
