JERRIS MARTIN

Welcome to my online classroom. I sure miss you. I hope you are staying safe during our time away from each other. There are several resources that students can access through Clever.  Students have logged in to these resources many times in class.  However, if you have a question, feel free to contact me. If you have any problems with any passwords, contact Mr. Ashworth, the SHS password manager.

  1. Go to the Singer High School webpage.
  2. Click on the Clever icon.
  3. The student will log in with their student email address and password.
  4. Once they are logged in, there will be other icons that are accessible. (See below)

A.) Edmentum ~ Exact Path: (You can also access Exact Path by clicking on the underlined words.)

Account Login: BPSB

User Name: student id number (they will know this as their Success Maker number)

Password: password

Students have used Exact Path in class. Each of my students have taken a Diagnostic Test in Exact Path, which provided a Learning Path to work on for Math, Reading, and Language Arts. This is a GREAT program to use. There is a tutorial for each standard/skill, as well as practice and tests.  It will level up or down depending on how students are performing.  I HIGHLY recommend using this!

  1. SuccessMaker is another website the students have worked on in computer lab.
  2. Here is a link to BPSB website for resources for grades 3-5 https://beau.k12.la.us/39791
  3. Here is a list of virtual field trips from BPSB

For my 4th graders

Here is information from Mr. Welch about Zearn.org

“In 4th grade math students should be working on ZEARN Mission 6, the final Mission. In Mission 6, students are learning a special notation for fractions: decimals! They will learn to demonstrate equivalence between fractions and decimals. This understanding of decimals and fractions will extend to working with money.”

Zearn.org can be located by clicking the underlined Zearn link or by accessing the Singer High webpage.

  • Click on the Clever icon.
  • The student will log in with their student email address and password.
  • Once they are logged in, there will be icons that are accessible.
